Our training center is proud to offer a number of classes for our journeymen and women to stay up-to-date with the latest technology in our industry. Please see below a list of offered classes.

  • Welding – All aspects of Welding (SMAW (ARC); GTAW (TIG) & GMAW (MIG)) are available under the direction of our Welding Instructors. Classes will be offered Tuesdays (beginning September 12) or Wednesdays (beginning September 13) and are from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sign-up is mandatory.
  • Medical Gas Installer – 32-hour training to test for Medical Gas Installer License. The course will consist of 12 nights (consecutive Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.) beginning on Tuesday, September 12.
  • Trimble Robotic Total Station – This entry-level course is for journeymen and journeywomen who have limited or no previous exposure to RTS and would like to learn the fundamentals and operation of RTS equipment. This course will be (3) 3-hour sessions, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., on Thursday evenings, September 14, 21 and 28. Shop attire is required. Additional sessions may be added, if there is interest.
  • Viega Pro Press / Mega Press Installer Certification – This course is (1) a 3-hour session (5 p.m. – 8 p.m.) on Thursday evening, October 5. It is designed for those who install press fittings and have contractors requiring credentials as certified factory-trained installers. Shop attire is required. Additional sessions may be added if there is interest.
  • Rigging – This is a Basic Rigging prerequisite course that will prepare Journeymen and Journeywomen for taking advanced EPRI Rigging Courses in the future. Classes are limited in size. Signups are available for either Tuesday classes (beginning September 12) or Wednesday classes (beginning September 13), evenings from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. There will be 4 consecutive weeks of classes. Additional sessions may be added, if there is interest.
