  1. Welding Courses
    All aspects of welding, including SMAW (ARC), GTAW (TIG), and GMAW (MIG), are available under the direction of our Welding Instructors. Sign-up is mandatory.Dates: Mondays (starting January 5, 2026) or Thursdays (starting January 8, 2026)
    Time: 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  2. A2L Low GWP Refrigerant Safety
    Prepare as the HVAC industry transitions to Low GWP Refrigerants (e.g., R-32, R-454B). This course covers the codes and standards for safe handling, storage, and transportation of these mildly flammable refrigerants (A2L), including training, a manual, and an ESCO test for certification.Dates: Saturday, January 17 and Saturday, January 24, 2026
    Time: 7:00 a.m.
  3. VRF Mitsubishi
    An introduction to Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems applied in ductless/multi-split HVACR systems. This course provides the knowledge and tools required to demonstrate and work effectively on VRF systems. A laptop and PPE are required.Dates: Tuesday, January 13 – Thursday, January 15, 2026
    Time: 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
    Seats: Limited to 15
  4. Orbital Welding
    Gain the skills to operate AMI 207 and 217 machines. Upon completion, participants can test for the UA 18-A Certification. Sign-up is mandatory.Dates: 8 consecutive Saturdays, starting January 10, 2026
    Time: 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
    Seats: Limited to 8
  5. Variable Frequency Drive (VFD)
    Hands-on course covering VFD operation and components. Program, test, and start-up VFDs, including ABB, Yaskawa, Honeywell, and TRANE equipment.Dates: Saturday, January 17 and Saturday, January 24, 2026
    Time: 7:00 a.m.
    Seats: Limited to 8
  6. Journeyman Pipefitter / Refrigeration Technician Licenses
    If anyone has an expired journeyman license, please contact the Training Center for assistance in retaking your state exam.
