Brothers and Sisters,

On Memorial Day, Local 537 honors all the soldiers and their families who have made the ultimate sacrifice for us. Today, we pause to extend our gratitude to the brave military heroes who have died in the line of duty to protect our freedoms.

Our national day of remembrance is felt most deeply among those who have lost loved ones in service to our nation. As we recognize this day, let us stand in solidarity with the families and communities of those who have passed.

Let us endeavor this Memorial Day and all days, year in and year out, to strive for a better tomorrow, a stronger community, and a nation that embodies and values the vision of our founders.
