We are pleased to announce that Pipefitters Local 537 is now in open enrollment for our Guaranteed Approved Voluntary Income Protection benefits, featuring your choice of any or all these tax-free coverages:
- Short-Term Disability (up to $750 per week for 24 weeks)
- Long-Term Disability (up to $7,500 per month for 5 years)
- Life Insurance and AD&D (up to $250,000) for Members; Spouse and Dependent coverage is also available
These benefits can replace a significant portion of your ‘hard-earned’ income if you’re unable to work due to injuries, illnesses, surgeries, substance abuse treatment, mental health conditions, or death. They pay in addition to other benefits our Members may receive, including MA PFML, SSDI, etc.
Tomorrow (March 5th at 4pm ET) Active Members will receive an email from “Union Hub”, our online enrollment and information portal. This email includes each Member’s unique Enrollment ID. Your Enrollment ID is used to ensure a fast and secure online experience.

Members already enrolled; NO ACTION is required to continue your current benefit elections. This is your opportunity to increase coverage or add benefits you previously declined. As always, Members can reduce or cancel their coverage(s) at any time without penalty.
