Brothers and Sisters,
Election Day is this Tuesday, November 8!
This election day, we urge you all to get out to vote to make sure the rights of working people are prioritized and protected. Voting for pro-worker candidates who will stand with working people, support strong unions, and fight for family-sustaining wages and workplace protections is vital to our families, our communities, and our Commonwealth. To learn about the issues we’re supporting this election cycle and to view our strong slate of endorsed candidates, visit the Massachusetts AFL-CIO!
Make sure to make your plan to vote:
- Click here to find your polling location.
- Polls are open in all precincts from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., though towns are allowed to open as early as 5:45 a.m. Voters who are in line when polls are closed at 8 p.m. must be allowed to vote.
- You may be asked to show identification when you check-in. Bring one just in case!
- Acceptable identification must include your name and the address at which you are registered to vote. Examples of acceptable identification include: a driver’s license, state-issued ID card, recent utility bill, rent receipt, lease, a copy of a voter registration affidavit, or any other printed identification which contains the voter’s name and address.
Thank you for doing your part to make sure voices of our union are heard on Election Day.
In solidarity,
Daniel T. O’Brien
