We’re proud to share that one of our outstanding 2023 Apprenticeship graduates, Shannon Butler, has been profiled by The Wareham Week!
Shannon Butler lives in Wareham and graduated from our nationally-recognized Apprenticeship Program in May 2023. Shannon graduated while also having and raising a child for the first time with the support of her Local 537 community.
“For me, it’s like a huge family,” Shannon said of the support she received during her apprenticeship, and as a member of Local 537. “Everybody looks out for one another.”
During the program, Shannon and her fellow apprentices received extensive training, allowing them to master everything from basic approaches to the latest cutting-edge tools and technology, producing the next generation of journeyman pipefitters, welders, and HVAC technicians.
