Brothers and Sisters,

We invite you to the Boston area premiere of the thought-provoking documentary “Americonned” on Monday, June 5 at 7:15 p.m. at Coolidge Corner Theatre. This movie sheds light on the critical issue of income inequality in the United States, and we believe it’s essential for all of us to come together and engage in this important conversation.

Produced by one of our esteemed Local 537 contractors, Len Monfredo of E M Duggan, “Americonned” takes a deep dive into the devastating consequences of income inequality and how it has destabilized the lives of countless Americans. The film explores historical parallels and examines the tipping points that have driven the labor movement forward in the past.

Following the screening, we will have the opportunity to participate in a post-film Q&A session with director Sean Claffey and featured members of the film. This is a unique chance to gain insights from those directly involved in creating this powerful documentary.
